Hatch Simple Cup app for iPhone and iPad

As coffee roasters, we cup and sample coffee frequently. And the go-to method has always been paper and pencil (which is fine!). But we wanted something portable, was on us all the time, and was simple and fast to allow us to move from cup to cup quickly.

We couldnt find an app that we liked. So... we built one!

Its barebones, but makes use of where the majority of your work probably resides - your email (which contains adequate storage, search and sharing capabilities).

App flow:

1) Setup your cupping table (up to 20 cups); we suggest giving it a name that would help you search later when you want to go back to see results; add your email (or save it in settings), or any email youd like the results sent to (a CSV file is sent to your email with a breakdown of scores and notes)

2a) If youre blind cupping, youre ready to start
2b) If youd like to name the cups, you can edit each cup profile (before, during or after cupping; so you can even cup blind first then add the details later)

3) Start tasting coffees, score, add notes; theres now an in-app timer

4) Review all coffees, favourite the ones that you liked

5) Save (and send to email)
